  • FT (2 positions), 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days, varies as scheduled.

               

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be responsible for taking a key role in the healthcare team. In addition to documenting the visit, a Medical Scribe assists the provider in a variety of medical procedures, including vital signs, injections, immunizations, blood draws and basic lab procedures, etc. A Medical Scribe is considered the primary point of interaction between the patient and the healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide the highest quality customer service to patients, adhere to practice protocols and processes, and effectively manage the volume of work without allowing quality to be compromised.  

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED. ?Proficiency with medical terminology. ?Excellent computer skills and ability to learn the electronic medical record system. Impeccable verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. ?Excellent bedside manner and professional behavior. ?Ability to work well in a team setting.

Preferred: EPIC experience. ??Certification as a Medical Assistant, Medical Scribe, LVN or paramedic through accredited training program.

Wage: $19.03 - $34.16
