FT, 80 hrs/pp 1.0 FTE; schedule varies as needed.
Job Summary:
Administers life support care to sick and injured persons in prehospital setting and transports sick or injured persons to medical facility. Works as a member of the emergency medical team. Will perform advanced procedures that are in the scope of practice for AEMT in Washington State. May provide professional care as Medical Assistant Phlebotomist in the Emergency Department.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State certification in AEMT training
- Bilingual or multilingual skills desired
Licensure & Certifications Requirements
Current Washington State DOH AEMT Certification credential.
Washington State DOH Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
Must have BLS upon time of hire or within 30 days of employment.
Pay Range: $18.74-$34.82
