Call Center Representative - FT
FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; Mon.-Sat., varies as scheduled.
Responsible for all incoming appointment calls and scheduling as well as corresponding communications between patients and providers for all PMH clinics. Answers phone calls directed to clinics, takes messages in EPIC, schedules appointments, obtains billing information, verifies eligibility of payer source, runs estimates as deemed necessary, maintains EPIC chart information, complies with HIPAA privacy practices. May be responsible for verifying accurate authorizations obtained on referral if applicable.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Bilingual; Spanish speaking required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with various cultural backgrounds.
