FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days, Mon.-Fri.., 8 AM–5 PM, as scheduled.

Job Summary:

Under primary supervision and direction of the Chief Communications Officer / Executive Director of the Prosser Memorial Health (PMH) Foundation, the incumbent provides general administrative/clerical support for communications, PMH Foundation’s fundraising activities, donor relations, and public relations activities. May assist with health promotion events, outreach activities, and volunteer program activities that promote health and wellness services of PMH, its partners and our communities. May also assist with the facilitation of community outreach activities utilizing volunteers and paid staff in support of events.  Additional responsibilities include support and coverage of the Gift Shop / Busy Bean Coffee Bar (Café) for breaks and lunch. Assist the Gift Shop / Busy Bean Coordinator with stocking inventory, running sales reports and any related clerical tasks as needed. Provides administrative support for the PMH Foundation with monthly communication such as preparing agendas, assembling board packets and follow-up communications with board members and partners as directed by the Foundation’s Executive Director.

Required:  HS Diploma or equivalent.

Valid State Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.

Must be able to travel frequently within the service area.

Knowledge of computer software (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.) with basic proficiency in software applications along with the ability to learn additional applications with little direction.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Highly effective oral/written communication skills.

Ability to develop a professional working relationship with people of varying backgrounds with awareness of equality and diversity.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines.

Preferred: Minimum of 6 months public relations and/or healthcare experience in related positions for nonprofit agency. Associate Degree in Business or a related field or three years of experience as an administrative assistant.
