FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days, Mon.-Fri.
Job Summary: Experience medical coder responsible in performing coding audits, analyze coding function, provide feedback to coders and clinicians regarding coding and documentation to ensure PMH receives appropriate reimbursement and conforms to applicable guidelines and regulations. Job involves Clinic coding.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or higher preferred, or equivalent combination of education or experience in Health Information. Five (5+) years of recent auditing and provider education experience. AHIMA or AAPC certifications in CPMA, CPC, CCS, CCS-P or COC required. Preferred: Experience with Epic and health care applications preferred. Experience working directly with Rural Health Clinics a plus. Experience using EPIC and 3M encoder.
Wage: $26.05- $39.08
