Job Description

Per diem/on call; varies as scheduled.

Technician will processes a variety of patient records to support the department's mission to secure and maintain accurate patient health information.  Task include; release of information (ROI), document capture processing, birth certificate data reporting, answers

telephones and maintains functions related to billing and collections of ROI. Required:  High school graduation or GED from an accredited education institution.  Education must include keyboarding, basic computer skills and medical terminology. A combination

of education and experience may be used to determine qualifications for the essential job functions of the position.  EPIC experience a plus. Requires a minimum of two years customer support, working with personal desktop computers, printers.  Preferred:  One year

experience with electronic patient health systems.
