Job Description

FT, exempt, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; hours may vary as needed.  

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager, coordinates all aspects of the registration department within the hospital including scheduling and registration staff.  Responsible for education and training of all department staff. Interacts daily with members of Nursing, Ancillary and clinical staff to ensure accurate patient class/status.  Is an integral part of the Revenue Cycle Team.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

High school graduate or GED equivalent required.

Bachelors or equivalent combination of college coursework and work experience in patient registration or medical office supervision. 

Minimum of four years supervising patient registration personnel in a medical setting preferred

Excellent Customer Service Skills.

Licensure & Certifications Requirements

AAHAM CRCS I/P preferred – required within one year of hire date.
