FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days and possible evenings (patient education), Mon.-Fri., 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, schedule may vary. 

Job Summary:

Clinic experience, with knowledge of surgical practice is preferred. The ability to relate effectively with co-workers, physicians and staff, and function as part of a team.  This position is a high functioning, multi-disciplinary position.  RN will

be working simultaneously between departments within the specialty services.  At this time, clinic departments are ENT, Allergy, Cardiology, Orthopedic and General Surgery; while also continuing to expand our services.  We are looking

for an RN that can multi-task, has quick critical thinking skills, detail oriented, exceptional customer service skills, and patient centric. In addition, provide MA oversight (scope of practice, competencies, maintain DOH guidelines) between

the two specialty clinics.  RN is needed to maintain national joint registry for joint replacement patients, pre-op phone calls, post-op follow-up phone calls, provide patient education, and work closely with the surgeons on providing

coordinated care for patients that are having surgery.  Preferred: Bilingual or multilingual. (BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire)  

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

Washington State RN licensure.

Current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BLS).

Previous experience in patient care setting preferred.

Prefer surgical clinic experience.

Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Licensure & Certifications Requirements

Requires RN licensure in accordance with the laws of Washington State.   Must maintain ACLS certification and PALS desired.
