Job Description

FT, exempt, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; Mon.-Fri., days, 8 AM-5 PM, hours may vary as needed.  

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, provides administrative duties for executive management and serves as coordinator to the Board of Commissioners.   Also provides administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Nursing Officer and Community Relations Manager.  Responsibilities may include screening calls, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and financial data, and customer relations. Requires strong computer and internet research skills.  Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.  Because of the sensitive nature of data and information handled, the Administrative Assistant must exercise utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality in the performance of work. 

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Two years college level course work in business administration, office management, secretarial training or related field preferred.  A combination of education and experience may be used to determine the qualifications for the essential job functions of the position.

Requires minimum of five years secretarial experience.

Expertise in word processing including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and Database Management.
