Job Summary:
The Dermatology Technician, under the direction of a Dermatologist and/or Mohs surgeon, the Dermatology Technician will provide clinical, surgical, and administrative support in an ambulatory care setting. The Dermatology Technician will work with patients seeking care for general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, and the Dermatology Technician will make the patient’s comfort, safety, and confidentiality the primary concern. Provides direct patient care with rooming and preparing patients for visits, assisting physicians in procedures and surgeries, and laser treatments across Dermatology and Mohs as required by manager, and under the direct supervision of the provider.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED
Graduate of medical assistant program.
Current WA State DOH Medical Assistant-Certified credential.
Current Association of Certified Dermatology Techs (ACDT) credential preferred.
AA Degree is preferred.
General knowledge of office procedures and computer systems.
Required: Bilingual in Spanish.
Preferred: Dermatology experience. 1-2 years clinical experience.
Licensure & Certification Requirements:
Requires current Washington State DOH Medical Assistant-Certified credential.
Must maintain BLS certification.
Current Association of Certified Dermatology Techs (ACDT) credentials.
Pay Range: $21.00 - $36.00
