Job Description

Per diem/on call; schedule varies as needed.

Provides a clean and sanitary environment by maintaining hard floor surfaces, upholstery and carpeted areas of the hospital and its annex facilities following prescribed procedures. Required: High school graduate or equivalent. Previous experience using buffer, scrubber, carpet extractor, and other various housekeeping equipment. Must be able to read and write and understand the English language to follow work instructions, directions and safety rules and regulations.   Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and their application in addition to knowledge in floor care methods and techniques. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with others, organize well and accomplish tasks quickly yet thoroughly. Must be able to problem solve.  Preferred: One to two years-floor care experience in a healthcare environment. 

Wage: $18.00- $27.50
