Per diem/on call; schedule varies as needed.
Responsible for planning, coordination of patient, family and staff education related to breastfeeding for PMH. The lactation consultant assesses and teaches patients with a variety of breastfeeding conditions. Actively promotes breastfeeding and assists mothers in reaching their goals for breastfeeding. The work affects the patient and their families and the overall effectiveness of the program. Develop new procedures to enhance the service provided. Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. WA State RN licensure. Preferred: One (1) year RN Lactation Consultant. (BLS required; NRP preferred, BLC Board of Lactation Consultant)
Pay Range: $41.63-$77.01
