Patient Services Representative - FT (Prosser Clinic)
FT, 80 hrs/pp, days, Mon.-Fri., 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 9 AM - 6 PM, varies as scheduled.
Warmly greets and checks in patients. Schedules appointments, completes patient registration and verifies all demographic information. Collects copayments and payments on account. Answers and screens phone calls; takes and routes messages. Responsible for maintaining records of business transactions and various office activities.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Bilingual Spanish/English. Training in office skills; or formal education in medical office front desk/administration or six months medical clerk/receptionist experience. Requires computer knowledge and keyboard skills (40 wpm). Strong customer service skills.
Preferred: Medical terminology and anatomy education. Cash balancing experience.
