Job Description

Prosser Memorial Health (PMH) in Prosser, Washington seeks a per diem Neonatal or Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician to join their team. Advanced Practice Clinician will perform emergent care and neonatal resuscitation / stabilization at Prosser Memorial Health’s rural health critical access hospital with a Level I nursery. Neonatal experience preferred.

Practice Highlights:

  • Services include but are not limited to:
  1. Providing routine newborn care (including admission and discharge).
  2. Intubation of infants.
  3. Starting UVC lines.
  4. Facilitating neonatal transfers to higher level of care.
  5. Delivering care to at-risk infants.
  6. Assisting with nursing staff education.
  7. Education and communicating with families.
  8. Collaboration with hospital Pediatric providers.
  9. Hospital based pediatric duties may be considered based on applicants’ interest and experience.
  • Advanced Practice Clinician shall be familiar with neonatal sepsis guidelines, newborn hypoglycemia, and identification of neonatal abstinence syndrome.
  • Hours to be determined, based on applicants’ availability with the goal of supporting neonatal hospital-based care during clinic hours.  
  • Excellent support staff.
  • EMR: EPIC.
  • Local Administration and Board of Commissioners.

Compensation Highlights:

  • Hourly rate of $83.75 - $123.47. Compensation is based on MGMA and determined by skills and experience.
  • Travel / mileage reimbursement.

Prosser Memorial Health is an independent full-service nonprofit 25-bed critical access hospital located in Prosser, Washington. Prosser Memorial Health has three primary care clinics, Therapy & Rehab Center, Dermatology Center, Digestive Health Center, Women's Health Center, General Surgery Center, Urology Center, Orthopedic Center, ENT & Allergy Center, Heart Center, and Endocrinology Center.  Our new state-of-the-art hospital opens in January 2025.
