FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days, Mon.-Fri., 8 AM-5 PM, varies as scheduled.

Job Summary:  

Responsible for the management, maintenance and optimization of the revenue cycle, including charge master maintenance, revenue optimization, monitoring interfaced revenue systems, charge capture, CPT and UB Revenue Coding and statistics. Provides revenue and charging information to revenue producing departments. Interprets and communicates CMS and other payer requirements for charge practices and claims submission. Coordinates with hospital billing staff to review and resolve charging issues. Works in tandem with Revenue Cycle Directors and Revenue Producing Departments to ensure all WQs, Candidate for Billing, DNB and Stop Bills and Claim errors are resolved daily.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business or Health Care. 

Candidates may substitute the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Managers (AAHAM) Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) certification or the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification. 

The Certification must be accompanied by 4 years of experience in healthcare financial areas with at least one year of supervision. 

Pay Range: $26.05-$39.08
