Per diem/on call; varies as scheduled.  

Job Summary:

Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations consistent with training, experience and scope of licensure. Actively involved with wound care and infusion therapies. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating care for the outpatient services program. Performs care necessary for outpatient services program using established nursing processes. Maintains accurate record keeping related to care given. Responsible for ensuring that up to date physician orders and regulatory requirements for services are met. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assists manager in marketing of program and educating prescribing practitioners as needed. Responsible for ensuring appropriate patient charges are entered in a timely manner.

 

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Washington. Current AHA Healthcare provider training (BLS, ACLS, PALS). I Heal and Healogics training upon hire for wound program. Experience with central venous access devices. Previous experience in acute care hospital or outpatient care setting. Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Capable to provide patient education specific to a patient’s needs. Solid organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.

 

Licensure & Certifications Requirements

Valid WA State RN licensure. 

Must have BLS upon time of hire or within 30 days of employment; ACLS, PALS are required within 6 months of employment.

Wage: $36.71-$66.45
