Senior Maintenance Engineer - FT
Job Description
FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days, 8 AM-4:30 PM, varies as scheduled, plus on-call duties as required. Position is subject to scheduling rotations.
Job Summary:
Responsible for organizing, assigning and coordinating work related to district-generated work requests, physical plant and multi-departmental systems, and equipment preventive maintenance activities. Provides and documents equipment/systems in-services and safety training for department employees. Assists DSS with miscellaneous projects and programs, equipment. As Senior Maintenance Engineer, the employee is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and minor to major repairs on all HVAC plant equipment and systems, compressed medical air system, vacuum system, plumbing fixtures and systems, electrical controls, components and systems, and the performance of other general maintenance duties and repairs as assigned by the DSS.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Valid Washington State Driver’s License. Requires a minimum of five (5) years work experience at the Senior Maintenance Engineer level or equivalent position. Requires a minimum of one (1) year lead experience in the building maintenance Industry. Requires journey level maintenance experience. Requires knowledge of plant operations and equipment.
Preferred: Previous hospital experience.

Pay Range: $26.02-$43.60
