FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; varies as scheduled.

Job Summary:  

Under the general direction of the Chief Information Officer, the Systems Support Specialist is responsible for providing software and network support, training, and troubleshooting in a networked microcomputer /virtual environment. Provides support on a wide range applications including Microsoft and Epic. May periodically travel to satellite sites. A person in this position is responsible for maintaining confidentiality in matters relating to patients As a professional exempt employee, these responsibilities extend through on-call periods. 

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science; or sufficient combination of education, training/or work experience to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of information system elements and management, preferably recently and in a Healthcare environment. 
  • 3 + years’ experience in IT Desktop Customer support. 
  • 3 + years’ experience in Server and application support. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT security practices 
  • Exceptionally strong Customer Service skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Licensure & Certifications Requirements:

  • CompTIA A+ - Preferred 
  • CompTIA Network+ - Preferred 

Pay Range: $28.72- $43.09
