FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days, varies as scheduled.

Job Summary:  

Under the direction of the Clinic Director, RNs, Physician/Providers performs combinations of duties in care of patients consistent with training and within scope of certification and/or licensure.  Responsibilities include: answers calllights to determine patient needs, transports patients within facility to and from their scheduled appointment as needed. Assists with medication reconciliation and patient history upon admission. Obtains and records patient vital signs. Clean and turn over patient care bay and light housekeeping duties as assigned. Assist with patient care for wound and infusion patients.  Assists with inventory and stocking of department supplies.  Answers telephones and directs calls appropriately.  

Education and/or Experience Requirements:   

High school graduate or GED.  Certified in Washington State as a Nursing Assistant.  Computer and typing skills. Preferred:  Graduate of Medical Assistant program.  Washington State DOH Medical Assistant-Registered credential within 6 months of hire. Six (6) months Acute Care experience.  Background in Medical Terminology.
